Hi Louise,
Im sorry to hear youre having issues with the foil shaver. The foil shaver will not cut long hairs. It will only cut hairs that have been trimmed or are very short. It is designed as a finishing tool and will cut alot closer to the skin than a normal hair trimmer will.

Nic C Fantastic for keeping the beard short without having to worry about irritation from razors. Takes a little longer due to the nature of the way it cuts, but the end result is much more comfortable. Every one or two days works for me. Would not recommend for use on your head hair as it takes so long and it seems a harder job for the machine to manage but I didn't expect it to be up to that job anyway. 100% recommend 👍
